Our new flagship store “sukima Nagoya” will open on June 11th.
Located inside HAERA, a newly opened complex in Nagoya’s Sakae district, the compact 23㎡ store presents a curated selection of shoes, bags, and small leather goods. Inspired by the “sukima (= gaps)” found within the city and its architecture, the space offers a more condensed expression of the Hender Scheme world, distinct from the brand’s street-level stores.

Hender Scheme collaborates with NOTA&design.
A new capsule collection focusing on the contrast of materials—leather and ceramic—will be released on May 16 (Sat).
This collaboration reinterprets everyday objects by substituting their original functions into different materials. Featuring Hender Scheme’s signature vegetable-tanned leather and NOTA&design’s unglazed “yakishime” ceramics, both materials will develop a unique patina over time, gradually deepening in character with everyday use.
滋賀県・信楽を拠点とするNOTA&designとの協業によるカプセルコレクション「Hender Scheme x NOTA」をリリースします。
レザーと陶器、異なる素材の対比によって構成される本コレクション。エンダースキーマのベジタブルタンニンレザーとNOTA&designによる無釉の焼き締め陶器を用い、製品がもともと持つ用途や機能を互いの素材へと置き換え、再解釈。レザーと陶器、ともに使用するほどに深みと味わいを増し、それぞれの経年変化を育んでいきます。
NOTA&designが、エンダースキーマのベジタブルタンニンレザーによるプロダクトを陶器として再解釈したアイテムは、還元焼成により制作。レザー特有の風合いを陶器で表現するため、釉薬を施さず、焼き締めによって仕上げることで、素材そのものの質感を引き出しています。焼き締め特有の無垢な質感は、ヌメ革本来の表情とも呼応しています。ベジタブルタンニンレザーと同様に、使用するほどに深みと味わいを増し、それぞれの経年変化を育んでいきます。「cup」「plate #18/#25」「coaster」といったテーブルウェアをはじめ、「wall pot」「clock」「bowl」「shell bowl small/big」などのホームグッズを含む全7アイテムをラインナップ。焼き物ならではの豊かな表情によって、一点ごとに異なる色味を楽しむことができます。
エンダースキーマは、NOTA&designの「wall pot」をベジタブルタンニンレザーによって再解釈。本来は水を受け止めるための花器をレザーに置き換えることで、新たな質感と用途を持つ、有機的な壁掛けの器へと再構成しました。また、インラインでは生産過程で生まれる端材を用いて製作される「coaster」は、本コレクションのためにベジタブルタンニンレザーを採用。NOTA&designが製作する陶器の「coaster」と厚みを揃え、両ブランドのロゴを刻印、コバも丁寧に手作業で仕上げています。「clock」「bowl」「shell bowl small/big」は、インラインと同様の仕様で展開し、両者のプロダクトが素材を横断しながら共存する構成となっています。
5月16日(土)より、エンダースキーマの直営店「スキマ」全店舗とオフィシャルオンラインショップにて販売いたします。また、NOTA&designが運営するNOTA_SHOP（ノタショップ）では、今回の協業を記念し、6月13日(土)から7月12日(日)の期間、この度のプロジェクトの世界観を体感できる展示を開催。カプセルコレクションのアイテムだけでなく、エンダースキーマのインラインコレクションが並ぶ特別な機会となっています。
